The vouchers will be issued for accommodation, tourism, performances, films, sports, exhibitions, catering and agricultural and sideline products, yonhap reported.

Consumers will be able to get 6,000 won (35.2 yuan) from Monday when they book movie tickets, with tickets available from 30 days. Consumers who use sports facilities and spend more than 80,000 won (rmb469) on November 2, solstice 30 will get a refund of 30,000 won (rmb175.9); Consumers can get a discount of Won30,000 to Won40,000 (rmb175.9 to Rmb234.5) when they book and pay for a hotel room; You can get a 40 percent discount on tickets for the exhibition and 8,000 won per person for the performance.

In addition, two major shopping festivals are about to kick off in South Korea. The Shopping Travel Experience Festival will be held online and offline for 15 days starting from November 1. The seafood experience festival is scheduled for November 15 at 26 solstice this month.

South Korea had planned to issue vouchers in August, but delayed them when the outbreak rebounded.

Vouchers will be given to consumers who agree to comply with anti-epidemic regulations such as wearing masks, the government said, adding that it will check whether some facilities are complying with anti-epidemic guidelines starting Monday.

"We are offering vouchers while keeping the outbreak under control," said Park Linghou, minister of Health and Welfare.
