The United States moved from 50th to 25th place in a bloomberg News survey of 60 economies for the 2020 economic "misery Index."

The 'misery index' ranks 60 economies by looking at inflation, unemployment and related prospects for the future. Bloomberg news article said the ranking highlights how the recession could be worse for the US economy in the wake of coVID-19.
